Biblical Counselor

Danielle grew up in Gillette, WY in a family that loved to talk about Jesus and read the Word of God. She attended the University of Wyoming pursuing a major in music education and then in 1990 she continued her college education in southern California. She married her high school sweetheart in 1991 and they had two daughters, Gabby and Julia. In 2001 they moved to Rapid City to raise their family and soon after they had a son, Jaden. Danielle was a stay at home mom and then decided to also work part-time as a substitute teacher for the Rapid City School District until 2020. She started volunteering as a youth leader for middle and high school girls at Fountain Springs Church in 2011 and still loves being a part of that ministry after 11 years. In 2018 she finished the first two counseling courses at Christian Life Ministries and 3 years later finished her training and joined the staff at CLM. She loves teaching and sharing with others how much Jesus loves them and how the truth of His Word can transform lives.

Life Verses: Philippians 3:12 “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.”

Philippians 3:9 “And be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.”

Psalm 18 but specifically verses 1-2 “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the strength of my salvation, my stronghold.”

Favorite Books/Authors: Francine Rivers, John and Stasi Eldridge (Wild at Heart and Captivating), Mark Batterson (Wild Goose Chase), Bill Johnson (Strengthen Yourself in the Lord), Joyce Meyer (Battlefield of the Mind), Wendy Alec (Chronicle of Brothers series)

Hobbies/Interests: Time with husband and family, the outdoors, sports of any kind, music, reading, podcasts, gardening, and of course, a good cup of coffee!

Favorite Places: The Black Hills, Island of Kauai, in a gym watching my kids play basketball
