Amy DeLange
Biblical Counselor
Amy was born and raised in the beautiful Black Hills. When she was seven years old, she first heard of her need for a Savior and of God’s relentless love. Growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus at Rimrock Church, Amy met and then married her high school sweetheart, Lee DeLange. She attended Black Hills State University studying elementary education and psychology. Amy spent the next 21 years homeschooling their three children, Emma, Jake, and Josie. While she taught their children, God was patiently teaching her humility and surrender because homeschooling, especially teenagers, had never been part of her plan. Active in a variety of ministries, especially those which served children and teens, she was able to share the relentless love of God with others. Through her involvement with cross-cultural missions, she has seen the good news of God’s global purpose multiplied. Amy has been discipled by CLM throughout her spiritual development. In addition, she has completed all levels of CLM counselor training. She rests in the fact that authentic joy is experienced in maximizing the truth of God’s goodness, not in minimizing the difficulties.
