Mur Anderson

BIBLICAL Counselor

Muriel was born in Worthington, MN and moved to the Black Hills area in 1972 where she met her husband Craig and raised their two children. After a short battle with cancer Craig went home to be with the Lord in 2002. Her daughter and son-in-law live in Rapid City with their two children where she gets regular grandkid “fixes." Mur’s son and daughter-in-law and their two children currently live in San Antonio, TX. She was the library director at the Hill City Public Library for 21 years, having received her library certification for small and medium sized libraries through Northern State University. She resigned from the position in June of 2006 to prepare to go on staff at Christian Life Ministries as a counselor. She finished her training for biblical counseling through CLM's four levels of training in 2000 but it wasn't until 2006 that the Lord opened the door for her to go on staff full-time and has served as a biblical counselor ever since. She has taught  discipleship classes and "Life-Labs" at her home church in Hill City, as well as women's bible studies and book discussions. Her greatest desire is to help people see how Jesus can bring healing into the deepest part of their life as well and being their savior.
